WIN FOUNDATION

A non-profit organization established in US, with major operations in India, WIN Foundation funds, supports and facilitates innovation in the areas of (i) Water and Sanitation (WatSan) and (ii) Maternal and Child Health (MCH), and apply it in empowering and improving the lives of underprivileged sections in a sustainable manner. Its primary operating unit is located at Research Park, IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. WIN Foundation also supports startups with solutions in these and related domains through funding, market access and market validation. In as short span of 2.5 years, it has supported and funded:

  • Field projects with reputed NGO’s to reach the communities (like ACT, Saath and VIKSAT)
  • Technology and product development at premier Institutions (IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bombay and IIT
    Kharagpur) and
  • Select technology startups for market access to enable product / prototype trials, refinement and validation

Programs

WIN Foundation Innovation Support programs to help bring innovative products and business models to help create sustainable and scalable social impact. 

WIN Foundation has launched its own WIN Innovative Product Market Validation Support Program and also supported programs like National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition (NBEC 2019).

Projects

WIN supports WATSAN projects bringing innovations in Water Conservation, Water Treatment, Water Recycling, Waste Management and Sanitation.

WIN MCH projects support innovations in Mother and Child Nutrition, Training of Field Health Workers, low cost portable point of care devices for diagnostics and healthcare for field usage.

WIN supports community empowerment, skilling and microentrepreneurship to make initiatives sustainable and scalable.
