Electronic Borewell water level sensors  by CFar Sensors India Pvt.Ltd., Pune

Founders: Mr.Craig Desouza and Mr.Rahul Chauhan

WIN is supporting this start-up for product market validation through its Community Partner: Arid Communities and Technologies, Trial location: Kutch District,

Product:  The product enables farmers, businesses and regulating bodies, the ability to monitor the level of water in tanks, borewells and dugwells, at low cost, and also remotely control the operation of pumps if required. The piezoelectric sensor, lowered to the bottom of the borewell, transmits changes in water level to a cloud server, through a gsm modem, in real time.

This enables farmers, village panchayats, village clusters, to monitor ground water levels, increase and decrease, and overall ground water availability in the zone being monitored, in turn also enabling better decisions on cropping pattern and irrigation and ensure better water security.

Abour CFar :

Connected Farms’ (cFar)  mission is to provide scalable, low cost , end-to-end water monitoring and management solutions. We’re excited to partner with WIN Foundation on our first product, a robust groundwater level sensor for monitoring of dugwells and borewells.
